C428 4-flute milling cutters have an Alcrona coating which improves performance when milling difficult to machine materials and increases the life of the tool. The specially designed 35 degree helix reduces vibration and improves performance when used in CNC machines. Manufactured from powder metal high speed cobalt for superior performance and extended tool life, C428 cutters have a medium length flute with HRA profile to break chips for efficient roughing when plunging, ramping and profile milling steels, cast iron and stainless steels.
