Description

Part of Dormer’s extensive carbide milling cutter range, S248HB 5-flute, Weldon shank end mills have a medium length flute, designed to provide high rigidity for standard profile milling. With great performance and longer tool life assured, thanks to the premium carbide used in manufacture, the tools are a very versatile choice and can be used for ramping, plunging and profile milling in stainless steels, cast irons and steels. The special unequal helix geometry reduces vibration and improves surface finish when used in CNC machines and the aluminium titanium nitride coating ensures a clean and accurate finish by preventing workpiece material from sticking to the cutting surfaces of the tool.
